Default CP Jihad to help my mom out! She won the grand prize!
I'm going to try and be a good son for once in my life. My mom's recipe is currently in 6th place in this Pillsbury Canadian Baking Challenge. She's the only person from Calgary in the top 10.

If you could put in a 5-star vote for her here: http://www.bakingchallenge.ca/recipes/69cb3ea3192/?w=2 it would be very appreciated...no need to sign up or anything and you can vote once per day.

Need more motivation? the #1 vote getter is from Edmonton. Thank you to everyone who votes!

Just to add some info to those who don't want to read the whole thread:

Pillsbury shut the voting down (and subsequently reset voting to a certain date) for a while and added that you need to sign up now to vote. Hopefully they didn't kill the Jihad!

She's now in the finals! Once I hear the results from the official judging, I will pass them along. Thank you CP!

She's going to need some help. If I'm reading that correctly 1st and 2nd are above 40k and your mom is just over 4k.

There are lots of prizes including a new kitchen and groceries for a year for the top recipe. Maybe I can convince her to invite you over for dinner...just no funny business.

Good luck to your mom.... she's got a long way to go (she has 5238 votes whereas #1 has 47,000+ votes). Could be tough to get the win.... even with CP's help

Interesting. When I voted she had 4888... so maybe it's not linked to 5* = +5 in number... that's a fairly large jump.
