When I stopped doing really dirty work, about 3 years ago, I replaced it.

I got a wallet for Christmas when I was around 5. I've replaced my wallet only once since then. I'm now 32. I think my current wallet is around 5-6 years.

I bought mine when I was a kid, so it could be as old as 20 now, at least pretty close. Wow, never really thought about that before.

had mine for about 2 years now. Been through the washing machine a few times, in a few pools, and a couple oceans...
Its time for a new one soon...
Its a quick silver one, cost $25 and surprisingly held up very well to all accounts.

A better question would be, how many of you are still using a velcro wallet meant for kids?

Wife just bought me one about 11 days ago that replaced one that was about 8 years old or so. Strange thing looks like paper, but is supposedly kevlar and can be washed. I had no intention of getting a new one, than again she got me the last one which I think was about 5 years old, and was only that new because I'd lost my previous wallet.
If you ever stumbled upon a Wallet between Hixon and Prince George BC on a side road with $60....that was mine!

That's odd, I was just looking at my wallet today and thinking it is time for a new one. I think I am an about 4 years with this one.

I buy cheap ass wallets.
This one has lasted since 2009 I think, it could go for longer.

I go through mine at least every 2 years because it usually tears on me so fast.
I used to like those big wallets with the zippers on it until it just started feeling really uncomfortable when sitting down for long periods of time, I now have switched to the card wallets. Something that is whole lot smaller than the zipper ones

About 4 months. Time to replace it though. Seems to be bending and breaking the cards in my wallet.
I normally cycle through them every 2-5 years.

I was forced to replace my 16 year old wallet the other day...It was a black leathe one that had snaps on it and used to have a chain that attached to my jean belt loops. I bought it from a biker shop/headshop in Lethbridge when I was 13 or 14.
It started leaving a black gunk over all my cards. A shame, I'd had two other wallets in that time and both lasted less than a year.

4 or so years old. Haven't been able to find a replacement one for the type of wallet it is.
