Default I need a Helmet...
Heading up north for a few days work next week and need to buy/rent a Helmet for riding quad to/from site.

Where to get a decent but not too $$$ one ???

Europe .... but i guess you dont have time for that .... rent one from U of C, i think they have some there?!

Any motorcycle shop will have a cheap starter helmet. 100-200 range. Beats head lice and stinkyness of rental/used helmet.

I think for motorsports, you have to make sure it is DOT certified. Am I correct?

I think so, though all helmets you'd buy in a bike shop would be. You can usually find a helmet for $100, those things are always on sale.
