The Thrive Movement
Maybe a little too "conspiracy" for some but it still looks interesting (speaking as someone whose livelihood depends on the oil and gas industry).
If "free energy" were indeed possible, would it transform our civilization or would it be suppressed by "Big Oil"?

I would take these "documentaries" more seriously if they just focused on several issues instead of trying to ball everything together into the grand unified theory of conspiracies.

So alien's travel hundreds of thousands of light years, over several thousand years, to leave crop circles and marks in stone trying to give us hints of how to create limitless energy.
And then it goes into a whole Zeitgeist style conspiracy theory about government, money and the Rockefeller's controlling the world. Pass.

If there was a way to extract energy from the fabric of space time and they could do it, the solution is simple. Put the design on the Internet.
Photos of a famous person go online for 45 seconds and are copied and mirrored all over the world within minutes.
Put the plans on the Internet and no one could ever put the genie back in the bottle.
But they can't because the design doesn't exist, it's a bunch of baloney, like most of the rest of the video.

To be fair, I don't think they are saying they have the actual answer, just hints towards it. Also I would say that by putting it on the internet they will be opening themselves to that. They just haven't premiered it yet.
Though I do agree with everything else. Seems like a bunch of malarky to me too. I mean, how many times does it have to be proven that humans have created crop circles. There are actual videos of people doing it! And if free energy were available to us right now, someone would have figured it out/leaked it.
I don't believe in the whole world financial conspiracy, but I do believe that many big corporations act out of blind greed however. They hide behind the 'responsibility to the shareholders' tagline, but act poorly in many moral and economic responsibilty situations to help their own selves or just in a sick competitive spirit. To the point where they do knowingly harm the world around them, be it the the environment, the poor, their employees, their customers, or whomever the particular circumstance may include. One doesn't have to be a genius to see how wealth and power affects people, there are thousands of examples in history and thousands of examples in present day. And what people who are at the top are willing to do to stay on the top. Shoot just watch Kevin O'Leary on CBC or Dragons Den to see poor attitudes towards wealth generation. And that's just a small fun example close to home who can't be accused of anything real terrible, just a general 'all for me, use the little guy' attitude.
A documentary more focused on one company or group of people might be more interesting AND beneficial. These global conspiracy theories are just bunk. Perhaps there is wrong doing at the top and maybe it is really big, but it's based on greed pure and simple and no grand conspiracy or plan.

I should also add that I am with Photon and don't generally believe this crap - however, with that being said, I would be a lot more inclined to believe that Big Pharma is hiding a cure for a bunch of diseases.

This brings up the absolutely most annoying point of these kinds of videos.
Are corporations run by AI or lizard men or something? No, they're run by people! Corporations and government and such ARE power of the people. So what this video really means isn't the power of the people, it's the power of the people that we've swindled to buy our stuff and are trying to convince to go against the power of the people we happen to disagree with.
Just like magnetic bracelets or The Secret, basically this video is an appeal to magic and made up crap.

As soon as they start throwing up Rockefeller pictures, and alluding to one world evil governments run by the financial districts I start hearing a buzzing in my ear, because their next logical usual step is to blame the Jews, or lizard people.
I never buy the whole alien thing based on the logic that there are billions of people on this planet and we don't have provable eye witness testimony or communication points.

Oh and the crop circle, those were created by teenage alien taggers, we've been covered by intergalactic gang logo's and useless graffiti.

Conspiracies are propelled by the very same lizard people that those conspiracies are against. They're taking your money and soul! Meta conspiracy.

I think it's not so much they are hiding cures, but not funding research that cures diseases so much as treats them.
That being said, let's take diabetes for example. how do you regrow a pancreas? I mean short of using insulin shots (or drips in the case of people who need it on a consistent basis) what other alternatives, short of growing a new organ are there?

Its amazing how Big Pharma is so evil and the target of so many reasonable people's paranoia.
There are so many pharmaceutical companies all over the world. There are 100's of university/college research groups working in biomedical research, non profit. There is profit in cure's and treatments to disease. If you 'hide' research in order to continue profiting on treatments you risk other companies finding the cure themselves and making billions on it, not to mention the whole ethical and risks you take with prosecution if you are found to be hiding something that can alleviate the suffering of so many people.
Its again the notion that we do know greed pollutes decisions made by business but to suggest say a cure for cancer would be with held by a company in order to make profit of treatments is a massive delusion to say the least.
I know that a great deal of this paranoia from reasonable people all over the world is simply failure on the science community's part to educate people on how medical research is conducted, how its monitored and so forth.
Now, don't get me started on Big Placebo, those are some unethical sob's!

There is plenty of profit in treatments, but not necessarily cures. Having a handful of people on Chemo >>> any cancer cure.
It costs tens of millions of dollars to manufacture a drug all the way through the drug pipeline and there are only a handful of Pharma companies which can supply the amount of cash it takes to complete a drug all the way to clinical trials.
