Here's an interesting discovery that suggests global "warming" could actually lead to colder temperatures in some regions.
One of the hardest things to make global climate change naysayers understand is that global "warming" does not necessarily mean warmer temperatures everywhere.

Personally I think the worst part was walking from Philadelphia to New York in less than a day, wearing snowshoes and packing equipment.

Yay another global warming topic. I didn't read the article, but from what I understand about this idea is that the world warms up, and the ocean currents die down, bringing less warmth to Britain and thus it freezes. Seems like a good theory. Won't happen significantly in our lifetimes.

Therefore, who cares, right? Might as well mortgage the future for our own generation's desires.
BTW, nice thread hijack attempt MMM.

I couldn't believe they did that. Some random scene at the beginning where a guy goes "oh no! the wolves escaped" and then 45 minutes they reappear, apparently hungry for human flesch.
The absolute worst was the chase scene with the lethal cold air. How stoned did the screenwriters have to be to concoct something like that???

I finished reading Michael Critons new book called "State of Fear" a couple months ago. It got me interested in the global warming. Since then I've researched it on the net and read a book on it... Criton's book is fairly accurate. Its a great read and I highly recommend it... at times its alittle far fetched though.
