Did anyone else notice that all of the characters in the Simpson's have three fingers plus a thumb and four toes. But god had the normal 5 fingers and five toes. There has to be meaning behind it, since cartoonists don't do something without a reason.
Anyone have any idea of what the reasons are? cause I'm stumped

It was the same way in the episode "Homer the Heretic" from the 4th or 5th season. On the DVD commentary track they talk about it (but don't give any kind of divine explanation, just that it's a joke).

God is pefect, so he has perfect features. Humans are not perfect therefore having 4 digits shows the imperfections of humans!

The one thing I noticed is that it was probably one of the very worst episodes of The Simpsons ever.
They should put American Dad first, then Simpsons to let people rest before splitting a gut watching Family Guy.

I'll give total credit to the family guy, that was probably one of thier better episodes. The scene with the bear at the end had me chuckling pretty hard.
and the scene where Stewie blew a vein in his eye caught me by surprise

The Simpsons have stunk up the joint for the past 5 years now.
They just use the characters and have turned the show into a charicature of what the old and glorious Simpsons used to make fun of.

well, the simpsons are a cartoon. God, (ahem, Matt Groening) is their CREATOR and also happens to be a human being...so in essence their god is human.

Me too. Some funny stuff, but overall, not the strongest effort put forth.

This Simpsons episode was pretty lame but the part with Jesus on the swings was pretty funny.
The American Dad episode was garbage as usual the only funny one was the first teaser when the kid gets his dog (that was one of the funniest cartoon moments ever)
And sadly the Family Guy episode was crap too. personally it uses alot of the Simpsons material and vice verca such as The Dad repeating words like 10x which is a trait of homer. The only thing holding this show together is Stewie.
