Yeesh...a lot of thinking....but thanks for doing it. Starting to get the itch for some NFL real bad as we get tarted with preseason.
- Division/conference standings (W/L records optional)
NFC
East
Philadelphia 11-5
NY Giants 9-7
Dallas 9-7
Washington 7-9
North
Green Bay 12-4
Chicago 10-6
Detroit 7-9
Minnesota 4-12
South (yikes what a division)
Atlanta 11-5
New Orleans 10-6
Tampa Bay 10-6
Carolina 2-14
West
St. Louis 9-7
San Fran 9-7
Seattle 6-10
Arizona 5-11
AFC
East
New England 13-3
NY Jets 11-5
Miami 6-10
Buffalo 6-10

Indianapolis 9-7
Tennessee 6-10
Jacksonville 5-11

San Diego 11-5
Kanas City 11-5
Oakland 8-8
Denver 6-10
Playoffs and Super Bowl teams/winners
NFC
Philly, Green Bay, St. Louis, Atlanta, New Orleans, Chicago
Green Bay wins the NFC (I understand this may look homerish, but someone has to explain how a team that won the SB with 15 guys on IR is somehow going to get worse this year)
AFC
San Diego, New England, Houston, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Kansas City
Baltimore wins the AFC and the Super Bowl
Coaches who will be fired
I assume this means after the season too...because its rare it happens during the season in the nfl except in Oakland.
Jack Del Rio, Lovie Smith, Tony Sparano, Marvin Lewis, Tom Coughlin, Mike Shanahan, Ken Whisenhut
League MVP Aaron Rodgers
SB MVP Joe Flacco
OROY Julio Jones
DROY Von Miller
Biggest Surprise
How good the Rams are early on especially.
Biggest Disappointment
The sudden decline of the Colts and the realization by US media that the eagles didn't re-invent the game of football.

Biggest Surprise:
Well I probably sound like a Bucs fan homer, but I believe the Bucs will continue to surprise the league/national media and will keep growing. I also think Ricky Williams will surprise many by being very effective for the Ravens.
Biggest Disappointment:
The Atlanta Falcons, as well as the fall of the Colts.

Biggest Surprise:
The Rams win their home playoff game, and give Philly a scare in the next game, inciting another riot about how a NFC West winner with a bad record shouldn't be in the playoffs, let alone get to think about beating Gods Eagles in a playoff game.
Biggest Disappointment:
The Oakland Raiders go 1-5 against AFC West teams after last years perfect record. The Chargers also put up another big record...only to screw up their first playoff game and get obliterated by the Steelers.

Biggest surprise-Kansas City overcomes a brutal schedule with a much improved offense and the maturation of a good young defense. Houston avoids its annual slow start and cruises to an AFC South title.
Biggest disappointment: Arizona and Kevin Kolb look just like Arizona and John Skelton. The Jets never threaten the Patriots for AFC East supremacy.

If I had more time I would fill this out completely, but I just want to say that the Jets and Pats are looking pretty good this year! Gotta lookout for Bradford and the Rams too, they were sooo close to the playoffs last year.
