The problems were with the electrical systems, not the engine.
Based on the responses I'm assuming you or a friend own one, and I will repect your experiance. However the issues were many and do not start and stop at electrical.
The engine was borderline for power before the overkill of emissions add ons that plagued most vehicles of that era, and over heating wasn't always an electric fan issue.
Many great ideas on these cars but poor execution on the magority of them that were turned out, not to mention a premature death of the original DMC due to many circumstances, non more important than personal demise of the owner.

BTTF should be remade. Mcfly will go back to the 70s from 2013 to meet his hippie parents. Mcfly will threaten his dad with his iphone showing T2 instead of using a walkman playing Van Helen.

Yes, I agree it should be remade. Only problem is the studios will mess it up, you know they are just drooling to cast Justin Bieber as Marty McFly, Selina Gomez as the girlfriend, and Nick Cage as Doc.
They ruined the Karate Kid with Will Smith nepotism, let's not kill another memorable 80's move..
