Looking for a place to rent near the University
My girlfriend and I are looking for a place to rent near the university. We've got a budget of ~900-1100 for rent/utilities/cable/internet. We'd like to live in walking distance or easy transit(<30 min w/no transfers, or better yet by the LRT). We've got a cat (well behaved, have references), and we'd like to sign an 8 month lease starting Sept 1st (we may stay another year, but aren't sure at this time).
Let me know if you or anyone you know has anything like this.

LOL, just because it's called MRU now doesn't mean people are going to change from calling it "Mount Royal" to "the University"...by stating "the University" it's pretty clear what is implied...the university.

Plus he asked for something near the LRT. Which also suggests U of C, since MRU isn't near the train. Neither is lethbridge...
+1 to the "university" is the U of C comments.

I'm certain I've see 'for rent' signs along 20th Ave NW (east of Crowchild) in the last week, FWIW. But school's starting soon; I don't know what the rental situation is like here anymore, but you're cutting it pretty close there.

Ya I know. I always do. I try to be as picky as possible but still realistic at the same time. It usually ends up working out ok, and if I get down to it I can always go to somewhere like boardwalk. I've got a buddy looking at some places for me tonight, hopefully I can reserve something this weekend :P
