Default How much do you pay a month for your cable tv, home telephone and Internet?

What is your monthly cost for your cable TV, home telephone and Internet?

I had my cable TV (HD with a DVR), home phone and Internet bundled into one monthly package. From July 15, 2010 to July 15, 2011 it was costing me $115 per month as part of a one year promotional offer. As you can tell, that offer recently ended, and my monthly fee was increased to $215 a month.

I axed the cable TV, now I'm paying just $65 for my home telephone and high speed Internet. I'm using Shaw.

I'm monitoring the children closely, they appear to be confused that the TV does pretty much nothing now.

We're paying around $120 for all three. Optik TV and Internet with Telus, phone with Shaw.

The second Apple adds NHL Centre Ice to Apple TV, cable is gone.

I don't have TV either, and no land line.

Only Shaw internet and that comes in at $51.45 a month. Rip off for sure.

Then just cell phone bill which is around $60.

We just reduced the channels we are getting from Shaw, went down to Basic and the Children's package, that with phone and internet has us down around $120/month.

Last year, when Telus did their promo surge, they offered $15 for each of the services Puckluck indicated for 1 year, for a total of $45. Afterwards the price was comparable to Shaw's prices for a similar package. I don't know how it compares to Shaw current Personalizer options though.

My guess if Puckluck's bill is actually $45, and will jump to $100-$120 very soon, for the remaining 2 year of his contract, unless he has a secret backroom handshake deal or some other comsideration.

I very strongly doubt that either Shaw or Telus will be offering the same deals they did last summer, even if you call and complain.

I pay 54.88 for Shaw highspeed, 28.56 for a basic Telus landline and 91.63 for Bell Satellite. I also have a pay as you go Telus cell, say 11 per month. (these numbers includes taxes)

Where I live I can't combine any services except I could add Shaw TV but they don't have Centre Ice in HD. Oh yeah, add 50 dollars for 4 months for Centre Ice and the Bell bill is with 20 dollars off which runs out this month. This doesn't include the money I've spent for the 5 set top boxes for Bell.

For a land line Telus is the only game in town and my cell phone won't work unless I go outside, so forget switching over to only a cell phone.

Total is about $201 per month.

People actually still have landlines?

Anyway, $70 for cable and internet.

I couldn't imagine paying $100 for TV.

Shaw rips me off on a monthly basis. I live in a basement suite right now, so I'm in no position to get a dish from Bell and I hate contracts so TelusTV is out for me.

Extreme Internet and HDTV with a good amount of channels, including Movie Central package and Setanta Sports.

$150 per month

Cell phone with Telus is about 100 a month, but company covers most of it, so not a big deal. Signed a contract, but that was just so i can get the free Iphone.

I have the Shaw phone, high speed internet and premium HD bundle for $170 per month. I would try a different provider but it would turn my two pvrs into paperweights. I'm getting rid of my land line soon though.

I have Shaw's Digital TV and Extreme Internet for $57.12 / month.

It's apparently $120.85 with $-66.45 of promotions.
