Default Stage collapses at Sugarland concert in Indiana

While Sugarland was playing the stage collapsed in a tornado killing a bunch of people. This reminds me of BVJ a couple years back but on a much larger scale.

NFSW (not sure how to hide it, video shows stage coming down on people)

My best wishes to all involved.

Thats horrible and terrifying.

I'm not a fan of Sugarland, but man they really brought down the house.

It wasn't a tornado. This is a pet peeve of mine, people see damage and a thunderstorm and automatically think tornado.

How many more of these outdoor rigging accidents as a result of high winds are there going to be before we learn?

Wow, that is a chilling video. I am surprised (and happy) that there were not more casualities. If they knew 2-3 hours before of such bad weather, why didn't they cancel the concert? Winds at 60 mph and still having the concert is bad news.

Yep. Start throwing the greed word around. It gets into the conversation eventually.

It happened after Sara Bareilles' set but before Sugarland went on stage.

Sad to see this becoming a more common occurrence...outdoor festivals are great and an awesome time, but to see stuff like this happens gives me shivers.

They warned people about 5 mins before it fell, which according to the cnn article, seems like it was about the time they found out.

It makes me wonder how we got so lucky in Ottawa to have so few injuries and no deaths
