Default What charity to give to for East Africa Aid?

I watch as drought and famine take over East Africa.

I want to donate. How to find out which is a worthy charity to donate to for this cause? Also, I would like it to be able to take advantage of the Canadian Govt matching funds (the matching funds are not adminstered by the charity, but by CIDA, as explained here)

I found one that seems good, this one, but how do I really tell?

Thanks
ers

RedCross seems to be the most popular one to go with so I would assume it's also the safest. I've donated there for Japan and Haiti, but not for Africa (yet).
