Roof Replacement

As luck will have it, my roof needs to be replaced due to recent hail and old age. I called the Roof Hospital that was recommended by people here and they are not accepting new clients. Any other good roofer that you can recomend? Thanks.

Their regular clients keep them busy? it's not like people get a new roof every year

No, they probably just mean they are up to their eyeballs in claim related work right now and can't take on anything more.

I got a buddy that does it as a side job, he used to do it for a living but now saving up to open his own company. He does quality work and is quite a bit cheaper than your standard companies.

Very busy, but the own is honest.

Get a quote with them supplying the shingles and labour, and another quote with labour only. I saved a couple grand by just buying the shingles myself and having them delivered to my rooftop three years ago when I did my roof (no mark-up from the roofing company as regular civilians can buy direct from the shingle distributors).
