When I was out in Ontario last year visiting my sister we were driving to their cabin by one of the massive wind farms. And we pulled over to take a look and you could literally feel vibrations in the ground from a pretty fair distance away.

Whether its a balancing issue or a whatever you could definately hear and feel the windfarm.

Lol, vertigo? At over 1km away?

"Do not look directly at the windmill!"

Right, but how is that different from, say, a railroad? Can I sue CP Rail if I live in an area with noise and vibrations from trains?

This looks like a classic NIMBY-ism frivolous case.

I'm not arguing with you March, except a windmill farm is going 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

and I might be wrong but trains don't run by houses at that constant rate.

I'm not saying one way or another, but I can see where people would get sleep deprived from the sound that I heard from a distance, and the ground vibrations from where we were standing.

Its not NIMBY if they didn't study the possible effects before they built the farms that close to residences.
