Jordan Sigalet Named Heat Goaltending Coach

"Jordan is such a quality guy and the fact that he grew up here in the lower mainland make him a perfect fit with the organization here in Abbotsford and we are happy to be able to add him to our staff," said Heat Head Coach Troy Ward.

Sigalet, a native of New Westminster, BC joins Troy Ward’s staff after spending last season as the Goaltending Coach with the Everett Silvertips (WHL).

Yep, it seems so. His wikipedia page says so at least. It also says that despite being the goalie he was the team Captain at Bowling Green State.

This guy has always been high in my books. Pretty impressive that he played several years in the AHL and even one NHL game, considering his illness. I also remember him playing here in Austria a few years back. Seems like a solid addition to the staff.
