I was just sitting here procrastinating and thinking to myself about what my immediate thought was when I thought of a specific CalgaryPuck poster, so I wonder what everyone else thinks.. Kind of like a title for each person who posts a lot..
Like I see MrMastodonFarm as the CP resident sh*t disturber, coming in with the witty sarcastic remark to poke fun at someone and start a riot then watch and cackle as he sees what he's created.
antoher example, shoestring, his/her posts are like poems in their structure, granted they've gotten more understandable, but the first time I saw a post by shoestring I was howling.
Or myself.. ushering insider, the keeper of the fata and of course.. the resident emo geek, always there to defend the emo way! Or to cry if I can't.
I guess the idea is to think of a specific poster, and what your immediate thought of them is. Like what kind of posts, or style you know them for.. The purpose isn't to make fun of someone, or insult them, just a comment on they're style.

I see Fuzzy is reading this, so I'll comment on him:
First thought:
I will read a post if I see his name there, because his insights are generally solid, but mostly because I could watch his sig. all day.

I see fotze as the resident comedic genius, with a softer side that is only exposed by forcible entry into his home and the removal of a family member.

fotze - the CP class clown. Most of his posts crack me up.
Shawnski - He is the one that holds the gamethreads together with his posts, when someone scores.

I'll comment on Cowperson and Reggie Dunlop, a couple of long timers.
I can always expect Cow to introdude links to different stories. It's easier to start searching here for news than have to surf myself.
Reggie is like the resident intellectual. And I'll never forget the photo hosting during the "Saddledome Riots". B)

Jiri Hrdina/looooob - I am always looking forward to reading his post.
MrMastadonFarm - Same as above, always interested in his comments, I love to argue with this guy.
kermitology - Shak's friend!
Shawnski - Mr. Game thread
Bingo, transplant99, Reggie Dunlop, Cowperson - The father figures of CP. Great insight, always posting news, very dedicated to CP.
Jordan - This guy needs to see life outside of his computer room!
Five-hole - Great poster
habernac - This guy has seen every movie in the world!
CrazyJoe - Graphics guru.
Lanny_McDonald - The best poster on CP. Always puts effort into his posts
calgaryred - The opposite of Lanny, too many one liners, I dont even read them.
Deelow - Fat chicken man (not Deelow, Medvedev!)
Maxwell Edison - Sometimes knowlagable, most of the time not so much.
chris lindberg - Too many wacky thoughts go through his head!
Displaced Flames fan - I am not saying that he is, but I always picture him as a bitter disgrunted Flames fan in Kansas.
fortze - Fun loving guy.
I will add more as I think of them..........

As a somewhat newcomer, maybe my views are a little more bi-partisan....
Displaced flames fan: Crazy American who likes the flames, but would seem to want to take any opportunity to argue politics and forcibly get his point accross
Kermit: Keeper of the Fata, and the dude who apparently works at the dome that does favours for nachos
Cowperson: Keeper of the peace and resident non insulting know it all
Shawnski: Keeper of the game threads, and the sole reason (in the opinion of the superstitious folk) why we made it so far in the playoffs
Rico: Keeper of the weirdest sig I have seen (Brad Pitt) and now bouncing booyakas
RougeUnderoos: Resident intellect a la Cowperson, but more willing to insult on a consistent basis
Bertuzzied: The dude with a strange name, and a Jeremy the bear avatat...nuff said.
MMF: Mean Mr Mustard vs MMF is always fun to watch......
I know I'm missing a lot but those are the ones that spring to mind.....

I agree with mostly everyone's assertations of various CP'ers....however...I"m wondering why somebody hasn't mentioned the fact yet that Kermitology is a poster who's opinions/posts have no merit because he didn't play hockey as a child and furthermore, isn't friends with and doesn't hob nob with any current NHL star.

I will admit the last 13 days of my life have been pure geekiness. I took a month off of work before school and have probably been out twice.

Nah, not true Kermit. I don't cackle and don't try to start a riot or anything.. I actually prefer a good debate to an arguement 10 times out of 10. I just can't resist a good scarastic comment sometimes... I have found myself holding back the last little while though. Great thread idea though.
I am kinda swamped at work trying to get out asap so I will make a list of guys that I enjoy reading posts from.
Transplant99, Displaced, Bingo, Shawnski, JiriHrdina, KevanGuy, Cowperson, RouqeUnderoos, peter12, loooob, icarus, Lanny, Table 5, Browna, Deelow, FDW, wookie, Sam25, Captain Crunch, habernac, AaronSJ, Ciampa, Mango, Photon, Skoda, Reaper, michalek, Captain Sensible, T@T, CaramonLS. Don't let anyone ever tell you this place doesn't have alot of knowledgable hockey guys. I am sure I have left some out too.

Capt. and Cow: The 2 people that probably hate me the most because I like Michael Moore..but are cool to argue with. They know what there talking about and it makes it fun.
Hulk Rogan/ Bring Back Shantz: Met them in Montreal boarding a train to Ottawa this year.. good guys..by the way..is it Greg or Clark?
KevanGuy: Nothing on this board stands out to much..because the thing that comes to mind when writing about you is the call you gave me at around midnight, when you were already smashed to tell me to come to the lobby. I thought of the hotel, you meant of the bar across the street... I stood out there for like an hour in the cold wondering where the hell you were lol.
Everyone else has pretty much been commented on so far..so I think thats all.
