They administered our group plan when I was with an oil company 10 years ago.

My understanding is that they got out of individual plans about 5 years ago and focused on the groups exclusively.

When I was with them, I saw moderate growth in my portfolio and was really happy with what they did for me.

What specifically were you wanting to know?

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

Relatively low fees and strongest for conservative investors who are seeking fixed income bond weighted portfolios. This was a good buy for RBC. Don't invest with PH&N but have enjoyed RY for years!

Looked at them about 13 years ago. They used to be a smaller firm that only dealt with people who had at least 100k to invest or something along those lines. But even back than they had really low MER's which allowed most of their funds to beat the index.

Low fees, and I have noticed that my fixed income funds from them have consistantly outperformed other funds. Have heard good things from people working there too. Definately one of Canada's most respected names.

My group plan at work has a couple of PH&N options. Whenever there are two or three choices in a category (bonds, canadian equity, etc) it seems to me that the PH&N funds have performed better than their competitors, and at a lower cost. In retrospect, I should have only selected their funds when I signed up. Look at the difference it would have made a few years later, it would have been pretty significant. So I'm a happy, if indirect, PH&N customer.
