I haven't been this excited since Christmas when I was a little boy when CP was down. Then it comes back online and I feel like I got sock for my present....

I was for a minute until I checked TSN.

That and CP doesn't really seem to crash anymore when it is busy.

Didn't even notice.

Ran a half marathon this morning then took the dogs walking for hours at Chain Lakes, then laid under the brolly reading/having a beer this afternoon . . . . and then read your post.

The "sock for my present" was being outside enjoying a nice summer day in July in fairly primitive fashion and forgetting about the internets!!!

I was dying. I delayed taking the kids to the Sesame Street exhibit at the science center for about 10 minutes while I raced through tsn, sportsnet, cbc and the Herald (repeatedly).

When they all came up empty, I figured it was ok.

yea, funny how that's how we think around here. I did the same, checking all the sports sites for trades thinking something big must have went down to crash the site.
