24 actually. My girlfriend happens to like when I do nice things, and I get rewarded accordingly by doing so. Ignoring our 6-month, regardless of how insignificant, will do me no favours.

Don't discount flowers as "Dull".
6 red roses and a bottle of red wine? .... If that doesn't cut it, then I don't know, you may have a "high maintenance" situation on your hands...

I can't think of squat.
Get a friend to drop something off which is unique? Gets rid of the issue of finding a unique item which needs to be delivered by a delivery company.
Still weak, but its late if you need it there by Sunday. This one could be look bad if your friend gets caught but gives it a little more oomf. Get a friend to hide a wrap present somewhere by her parents door/in their yard and call her to tell tell her happy aniv, and then say, oh by the way, your present is hidden "here".

In this economy, she should be happy that she has a boyfriend never mind gifts.

Probably a case of Fred Flintstone syndrome. He somehow landed someone out of his league and overdoing it to keep her around.
Seriously, if you are going overboard for a 6 month anniversary it comes off as desperate and childish. Only teenagers celebrate every possibly milestone. Wait until its a year, save up and take her for a nice dinner somewhere.

You gotta look at the long haul. If you pepper her with this for your 6 month, what are you gonna do for your 1 year, 5 year etc? It gets harder to keep doing things, or to make it 'more special' so my advice is to start smaller than work your way up. It seems to me this is one of your first relationships and you want to make it special, but sometimes less is more.

Wow. Can't you guys just help him out without crapping all over him? Give the guy a break. If you want to help him do something nice for his girlfriend for the 6-month anniversary, do so. Otherwise, don't bother commenting.
ANYWAY...

You could try those. I've never used a service like the one you speak of but I hope that helps.

I think that the (first) 6-month marker is worth noting.
That said, I'd keep any gifts relatively simple. Note the occasion and move on. Frankly, I think Nehkara's zchocolate suggestion is spot on.

My suggestion for something unique- http://www.ediblearrangements.ca/
[Edit- I missed that already rules that out. Nevermind then.]
