Default Microsoft word help

Hi Guys,

I am having some problems with word and was hoping someone from CP might be able to help.

All I am trying to do is insert the "draft" watermark from page layout > page background. My problem is that I want it to appear on every page and it will only show up on alternating pages.

HELP!!!!!!!!!

Thanks in advance

Check your header/footer settings and ensure they are set for every page, not just even/odd.

In 2003 its Format->Background->Printed Watermark->Text Watermark, then pick "Draft" from the dropdown list.

...but it sounds like you've gotten that far at least?

Add the watermark.

On the one page where you want the watermark, insert 2 continuous section breaks, one at the start and one at end of the page, or a page section break at the end, depending on your need (under insert -> break).

Double click on your header or footer (or go to view -> header/footer). A toolbar will pop up. Go to the pages before and after, then click the "link to previous" on both pages to deselect it. Delete the "Draft" water mark from the page before and after, and voila!

To do alternate pages, you may have to do this on every page :\

More importantly, I hate Word. I think I'll write my next resume in Excel.
