Guess it didn't mention the definition of mummification either.

Fun fact of the day: pretty much every body in moderate stages of decomposition will experience some mummification, very typically on the fingertips. If one wishes to obtain fingerprints from such a body, you only need to soak the fingers in water and voila! Good fingerprints!
Bodies can also be half decomposed, half mummified. And they don't even need to wrapped in cloth!

Well, lets see what we have here.
An elderly woman, known best for posing naked and her oscar worthy performances in such cinematic masterpieces as Attack of the 50 Foot Woman and Attack of the Giant Leeches, is found dead in her home.
Now, it would be understandable to feel that this event could be some sort of Giant Leech revenge for what surely was a brutal defeat at her hands in that film, either that or she was hogging all the hoagies on the cast table. Perhaps they'd just finally lost it when they realized that she had totally sold them out cheap on a low budget slasher flick, sure, that was 60 years ago but Giant Leeches carry Giant Grudges.
But, the story takes yet another Shamilanian(sp?) twist! The woman's neighbor, an 'actress' named Susan Savage is the only one to venture into the home, and was quoted as saying 'I just had a bad feeling.' and:
Quote:
After pushing open a barricaded front gate and scaling a hillside, Savage peered through a broken window with another piece of glass taped over the hole. She decided to enter the house after seeing a shock of blond hair, which turned out to be a wig.
|
Do you know what kinds of movies start with intros like this? Horror and Porno, and a new, relatively young genre affectionately dubbed 'Horrno.'
Based on the name 'Susan Savage' you can probably guess which genre she specialized in. Or maybe not, I dont know. Perhaps she needed a boost to her stalled career and thought that maybe the real life story of venturing into a shut-in's hoarder mansion would be her kickstart to fame and fortune?
And now you know, the rest of the story.

She was quite the little 50's hottie, mummy or not.
Do not click on the 3rd pic if you are offended by half naked women with hot posteriors.
