I noticed @ work a year ago that we used to recieve a lot of BC gift boxes @ Christmas but after the downturn in the economy, none appeared the year after.

At the first hint of profit loss, He should have started adding Melamine to the recipes.

I blame it on the "Cocoa Bean" counters!

I blame it on his building roof's lack of overhang projection.

Fat people generally don't care about quality, they tend to shovel inexpensive crap down their gullets.

Don't you buy Callebaut and flowers to get a hard blow?

I'm glad.

When I want to have chocolate, I don't want to have to read a freaking map to find it. 90% of the flavors were crap anyways.

I am dismayed about this, as so many special events my family had were enjoyed with BC chocolates. This is a great shame.

I always enjoyed their chocolate, its the best stuff in town. Hopefully they'll restructure a bit and come back smaller and more competitive. If they disappear outright I'll be pretty sad to see them go.

Sad day for Calgary as it's part of our identity in many ways. It's like Peter's Drive-In in many ways. Incredible chocolate.

I was just watching the news and a lot of this has to do with buying real estate for his business not just chocolate sales. Hopefully he can rebound and get back on his feet.

I am sure landmarks like Peter's have had troubled times and rebounded. Calgary is a boom and bust town.
