Punta Cana Hotel

Looking at booking a trip to Punta Cana.
Anyone have suggestions of places to stay? We've been to Punta Cana before and stayed at the Riu Bambu, but are looking for a bit nicer place. Right now, Iberostar Bavaro is at the top. All suggestions are welcome!

I hear it is good but never been there. I have been to iberostar puerto plata and it was the best all inclusive I have been to. I believe iberostar are generally good hotels.

Barcelo Bavaro Beach resort, they had the 1st pick of properties in Punta Cana, selected the BEST beach area and the resort is huge with 5 hotels on it with its own golf course, lots of bars and many pools.

We stayed at Grand Palladium when we were there. I'd stay there again.

Dreams palm beach FOR SURE. Great resort, premium liquor, free room service and is close to all the excursions and a 5 minute walk from the flea market. I've stayed at Grand Bahia Principe before which was good but the dreams is so much better. Plus you get to go for the nice resteraunts as much as you want without reservations, at the grand bahia you have to book all of your resteraunts in advance when you get there and only have limited use of them. The dreams party team is a good time, make sure you see gasolina if you go there, he's the party director ;-)

Secrets is a nice hotel and a good beach but the ocean is terrible.
