LOL funny thread!
I much prefer Live, for obvious reasons. I don't think there is anything superior about the Sony network?

I don't mind the PSN, but find Live and the whole xbox UI easier to navigate. Finding a friend online and inviting him into a game of NHL 11, for example, seems way easier on the 360.

I'll sit through some down time for something that doesn't cost me a dime, but then again I'm easy like that.

PC gaming. Servers are run by players, independent hosts, or individual game companies. It does not all go down when one single company goes down.

It never ceases to amaze me how much people will put themselves through just to avoid spending money.
$50 a year. I spend more than that on coffee in a month.

I've always used PSN and have limited issues. I'm sure those that say XBOX is easier to navigate only find that because they are so accustomed to it. I use PSN for Black OPs all the time and have never found navigation of menu's or sending friend invites to games to be cumbersome at all.

it's not what i put myself through, like rhettzky i don't really find a huge issue with PSN. it provides the basics and that's basically what i need anyways. you know what russell peters would say.....you save fiddy dolla here and you go to the dolla store and you go buy yourself something nice

Simple fact is that all my friends have a PS3, so that has become the system of choice for on-line. Am I upset at the downtime...for sure. But It's not like I'm losing $$ with it being down.
(Side note: I picked up live for Halo Reach, so I do know both services)

While I'm not happy about the ol' 80710A06 (was looking forward to playing NHL with my pops over easter weekend), I still prefer the PSN for the interface alone. Find it much more intuitive than the xbox one, for whatever reason.
Also, the price is nice.

There you go. With PSN you could spend $54.16 a month on coffee. That's one more grande soy no water latte every 30 days.

Not to mention mods by users which are sometimes better than the original game is.

Xbox Live is the better service. If I want to shoot someone a friend request, I hit the guide button, go to him and send him a request, for the PS3 there are like 4 menus I have to go to, then I have to send him a message with a request. That's just a little thing, but overall Live is way nicer.

I went from having an Xbox , to having a PS3 , to having both systems. I have to say I much prefer live to PSN. It has nothing to do with cost. The only thing I really do on PS3 anymore is blu-rays and playing NHL with the CalPuckers. One huge thing I noticed that seems fair superior on live than psn is the chat. My Chat works flawlessly on the Xbox but over PSN it rarely ever works correctly.
I like the party feature on the 360 too and there might be a way to do it on PSN but i havent found it.
