Just watching the EF (idk where else to stick this, there's no EF thread), Masoli just got injured scrambling. Not a dirty play because he made himself a runner, but just watching the replay of that helmet to helmet makes me openly wonder if in youth football coaches even teach kids to tackle anymore, or is it just all about launching yourself head first at your opponent like a big horn ram during mating season. That's all anyone does it feels like.

I'm almost starting to think football helmets are a safety hazard, as it makes players feel invincible and they even use the helmet as a tackling tool, with that "ram" strategy. Which seems to be the tackling technique employed in many incidents resulting in injury. You'd never see rugby players making dangerous tackles like that, because no-one wants to use their bare head as a battering ram.
