Breakfast at Fairmont Banff Springs, other than that I'm not a real fan of buffets in Calgary.

Lunch buffet at Glory of India is pretty good, if Indian food is to your liking.

Buffets suck. Quality is not the main goal, its quantity. If you dont' eat until you are superstuffed, then you feel like you didn't get your moneys worth, and if you did, you feel like crap all day

The Calgary Tower had a pretty good Sunday buffet I went to a few years ago. Also the hotel out on Macleod Trail and Southland Drive (name escapes me). Ooooh - and the Sheraton has a good one too.
I tell you one thing - I sure don't miss "Foody Goody". Barf. 300 items that all taste exactly the same.

Just my two cents, but I really enjoy the sunday brunch buffet at the Executive,
(barlow and 18th or so). 'Only 20 bucks' or so.

Buffets suck. Get up from the table to go get food? What moron thought up that idea?! I can do that at home. No, the height of sunday morning cuisine is definitely dim sum: the food is better, it's usually cheaper than buffet food, and it comes to your table!

Wasn't a fan of the BBQ korean at the Sushi BBQ inn. Meat wasn't marinated or anything.
It's been a while, but the Royal Inn on Barlow had a great buffet going. Jam packed.

I don't know where you get your dim sum fix but in my experience they are definitely NOT cheaper than your run of the mill buffet.

You've obviously never had the Sunday Brunch at La Grille at the Fairmont Banff Springs. At $36 it is a truly amazing culinary experience.
