Default 400-lb. Sumo Wrestler Runs LA Marathon

Quote:
Kelly Gneiting, 3-time U.S. Sumo Wrestling Champion, became the heaviest person ever to run a marathon when he completed the Los Angeles Marathon in 9 hours, 48 minutes, and 52 seconds.
I admire his heart. Most fat guys get tired after the first couple of seconds and they give up because the pain sets in.

Yeah most marathons would have the finish line packed up and put away by the time this guy finished.

But still a pretty noteworthy accomplishment. Walking for 9 hours has got to be harder than running for 4.

Slightly dangerous/stressful on the heart for a 40 year old 400lb man...no?

Big congratulations to him on the finish and still breathing.
