Dr. Laroche and his colleagues present in the online edition of Applied Materials and Interfaces the details of this innovation which could eliminate, once and for all, the fog on eyeglasses, windshields, goggles, camera lenses, and on any transparent glass or plastic surface.

It would be nice not having my swim goggles fog up every day.

Until you get your hands on this permanent anti-fog stuff, you can rub tooth paste (paste, not gel) on the inside of swimming goggles or masks...
Much more effective than spitting in them, and lasts longer...

spit works the best, just keep the lense dry, spit and spread it around with your finger, then rinse and you're good to go.

This is great news! It kinda sucks when you're trying to weld high pressure sour gas pipe and you can't see a thing. I tried using the same anti-fog stuff that you use on the windshield of you car on the lenses in my welding helmet once. Not recommended. Doesn't work and the fumes burn your eyes.

Now it's gonna cost $250 for a hockey visor instead of $100. Yaaay!

Better?

Does this mean my glasses won't fog up when a pretty gal walks by?
