Only a bad sound system like the one in Athen's could make our national anthem sound like it was written by drunk klingons

But finally a gold and its nice to see

It sounded like it was done by a high school band that had way too many insturments in it to clog it up.

But yes, nice to hear it. Lets hope for a couple more in the next week.

The funny thing about the Anthems....all of them were made and produced in Ottawa for the Greece Olympics! How about that for a slap in the face!

Ohh FINALLY, we break the goose egg. With the Mens Eight Rowing team finishing 5th and both men and womens volleyball getting eliminated, this is great news.

Great that he's fom Calgary.

More about the protest:

The Romanian fell and still beat Shewfelt!

Could this be Sale/Peltier all over again? Will this force them to clean-up the judging?

that smells of corruption all the way. If the dude fell he shouldn't win. I hope this gets the proper media attention. The U.S is keeping the screw up Gold Medal with the Korean in gymnatics pretty low.

The US is negotiating "sharing" the gold medal with the Korean.
