Downtown 1BR Condo for Rent (Mar 1 - Aug 31 2011)
Hey all, I'm going on a trip from March 1 - August 31 2011 (6months), and would like to rent out my downtown 1BR condo for that period (I intend to move back in when I get back so it would pretty much just be for that term).
It's not that large, about 550sq feet, 1 bedroom (fairly large, fits my queen size bed with plenty of extra space), storage room, 1 full bathroom, living room, galley kitchen. Unit has a dishwasher, building is FOB access, underground heated parking, decent laundry facilities in the building, none in unit. Building is at 1602 11 ave sw Calgary (near where Pegasus restaurant used to be on 14 st).
It's been renovated within the last 3 years, new floors, nice cabinets.
Because it's a 6 month only term I'm willing to cut someone a pretty good deal... last time I traveled I rented it out for over a grand a month, this time around I'd be willing to go for around $750 a month (a pretty good deal), though that depends on who you are and your situation, I'm a bit flexible as I really need to rent it out one way or another. Damage deposit to be determined upon meeting you.
The place can potentially come furnished with my stuff (leather couch, tv, furniture, no bed though), though I can obviously clear all that out if you have your own furniture. The only extra bills are electricity (about $50/month) and cable, everything else is included.
