Default Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
So the album is out and I took a listen online. Like always, great production quality and detail. Definitely a good listen. Only "complaint" is that some of the tracks run a little long. The guy may sometimes have bad judgement, but he's definitely one of the best producers out there.

I can't decide if this is a defining album or if he's still re-finding his form.

At least it's not 808's and heartbreak pt. 2.

I wish artists would stop leaking 70% of their albums before it's out.

Also, what's with the ridiculous track lengths on this album? The average song time is probably over 6 minutes.

I've listened to some albums where the average track length is over 10 minutes, and if the artist is using that time well, you won't even notice. I'm guessing based on this thread that Kanye didn't fill the time well.

It's difficult to take Kanye seriously if you are anything less than a hardcore hip hop fan. I haven't payed attention to him for years now.

The songs seem to just keep going and going near the end of it. But a very good album, much better than I expected!!

All depends on what kind of hip hop you like. Hip hop is a very broad genre.
