Default BIG Solar Flare Pointed Directly at Earth

Saw this on Fark (pretty interesting thread going from commenters like Shadow Blasko)

I have no idea what this means, but it flared to an X2.2 Class Solar Flare. Pretty big apparently.

Maybe I'm kinda dumb, but shouldn't we (the Earth) have moved by tomorrow morning? Ah whatever. The end is nigh. Repent.

I don't either, but hide your kids, hide your wife...

From what I've read a K rating on that scale can cause voltage issues and satellite interference..so a sustained X rating (insert joke here) could be somewhat more substantial.

How could the world survive without two weeks of facebook?

My wife always says we should get a kit too, now could be a good time.

Reminds me of the over logging episode of South Park. That's one of the best ones.
