Default "Don't touch a girl"

http://www.ebaumsworld.com/video/watch/81298009/
(video could be deemed graphic for some)

A guy intervenes and jumps two girls when they were attacking his girlfriend.
After one tries getting in his face telling him that he should never touch a girl.

What are everyone's thoughts on this?

IMO, he was 100% in the right. At one time he threw a girl like a rag-doll off his girl, but overall he showed quite a bit of restraint as he could have done a lot of damage.

Over the summer, I was on campus and we walked past a young youth group at the university. The kids were probably around 6. Anyways, I remember hearing one of the girls say that it is fine to hit a boy, but boys can't hit girls. The counselor, upon hearing this corrected her and said "no, it is not fine to hit anyone"

What a hood scene.
I watched without sound, but from the look of things I think he did just fine. If it's two on one, and my GF I likely would have done worse.

He's an idiot. I'd understand if his girlfriend didn't want to fight, but she was just as guilty in starting the fight and even threw some punches. It's not like she was jumped. She willingfully started a fist fight.

The hair pulling was a little much. He could have pulled them off a little more manly in my opinion - like by the bra!

I was hoping the girls were better looking so I could say, "I'd hit that", but they were not.

This guy was totally out of line. The correct thing to do in this situation is throw baby oil, ky jelly, jell-o, or pudding on these girls and let nature takes its course.

The guy was in a restaurant. There would have been proper supplies in the back. He has zero excuse for his actions.

He was 100% in the right and if anything should have done a lot more to stop the fight.

This you never hit a girl BS is just that BS.

I was always taught you never raise your hand to a woman for any reason. In the rare circumstance where you might need to defend yourself or someone else, use minimal restraint. Punches or anything of that nature is never justified for any reason ever. This guy goes a bit over board IMO dragging a girl around by her hair is pretty weak.

I was raised in a family with three sisters, so I was told that there was no hitting of girls. I remember one time when I was 10 my sister was teasing the crap out of me while we were playing teather ball at school, so I fired that ball at her as hard as I could and knocked out a couple of her teeth. I honestly didn't want to go home that night, but I did and I got punished for it.

Girls are ruthless if they believe in this rule. I learned later in life that a show of strength without physical contact is the best way to go sometimes, I have about 50 little scars on my left hand and arm. My sisters were on me again and I turned around and put my fist through a window in the back of the house and then started laughing as I bled like a stuffed pig. After that they respected my restraint and didn't push me.

I think you can apply a certain level of violence in a situation like the video. You can pull the girls apart, and stand between them to cool the situation, or you can grab a pack of jello and a kiddie pool and let them go at it. But you don't need to kick the crap out of them.

Oh, and protect your sack at all times.

The problem in this case is that those girls would have just eaten anything he threw at them.

It's difficult to consume litres of vegetable oil and fight at the same time. I think either way, the violence would have stopped.

lol, Street Justice. In all fairness he did spend the 1st minute or so of the video trying to stop the fight with his words. Clearly that didnt work. A 2 on 1 fight is lame be it man or women. I have no problem with women flashing the Gender Card but when you attack someone unfairly I dont understand how you can expect to still play the gender card.

I don't know how I'd react if it was my girlfriend, but if I saw two girls attacking one of my sisters I'd have no moral qualms about hitting them to get them off. The dude was trying to get them off and they wouldn't let go so he had to smack them or let them really hurt his girlfriend, ####ty situation altogether.

Quoted for truth!!

I've never had to deal with this situation, but if one of my sisters was being ganged up on by a couple other females, I would have no problem smacking one of them if I had to. I wouldn't barge in and drop haymakers on them, I would first try to pull them off and tell them to F off. If they continue to assault her, or have weapons, I will do what I have to do to defend my sister.

Girls who pull that "its okay for girls to hit boys but boys not to hit girls" deserve to be biotch slapped. Thankfully I have some female friends who are more then happy to step in for me.

And we have seen pictures of the girls you roll with, last thing anybody wants to do is get in the way when they are coming through.
