Besides CP....Kijiji or Craigslist?
Just curious what others are using for their buy/sell needs in Calgary. I have a couple guitar pedals I'd like to sell, and it seems like Kijiji has more postings for similar gear than Craiglist in the Calgary area.
Is kijiji actually more popular in Calgary (or Canada maybe?) than Craigslist? Craigs is always the first one that comes to mind, but I don't use either very often, to be honest.
Thanks!

besides the 3 mentioned already. I look up beyond.ca and of course Facebook. I find kijiji and craigslist to be a bit sketchy at times. Heres the link to beyond.ca.

Only bad part about this is its like CP. It doesn't accept anymore registrations now.

Post the guitar pedals here. There are enough CP guitarists. Do you have a volume/expression pedal?
I kind of miss selling stuff on the Calgary usenet groups back in the day. I guess nobody reads those anymore?

Lol...no volume pedals. Looking to move a NYC reissue Big Muff, a MIJ Boss HM-2, and a 3 week old Boss ST-2 Powerstack right now. Maybe I will try here first

Unapproved doesn't mean that registrations are closed, it just means unapproved. I don't do approvals every day, and some registrations get held for longer, if a Canucks fan registers minutes after a Flames loss, they'll probably get held for longer before being approved. I'm finding that holding approvals for a while before approving has reduced the amount of trolling from new registrants, someone wants to stir the pot after a loss or a win, 5 days later their desire has usually gone down.
It's also possible their registration hasn't even come up yet, lots of people who use hotmail end up waiting forever their email confirmation (which is in their junk mail folder)
So let me know his ID and I can check.

I know this doesn't really contribute a whole lot. Just for some people asking about kijiji for all of Canada.
In the Vancouver area Craigslist is far more popular. When I was looking for hockey tix in Calgary, craigslist had very little to offer and then I remembered the kijiji site and there were alot more in the Calgary area. Kinda caught me by surprise as I only use Craigslist to buy and sell on.
One time I was also trying to get a used price on a Godin Electric guitar before I purchased it, so I searched many areas of Canada on Craigslist to get a price and then the same areas on Kijiji. It seems for the rest of Canada outside of Vancovuer that Kijiji is more popular.
Damn people on the west coast trying to be different.

Yeah Craigslist used to be much more popular in Calgary, but now if I put something on both I'll get 10x or more responses from kijiji vs craigslist, if I get any responses from Craigslist at all.
