Put it on my Desire and it is great. Takes some getting used to, but once you do... very cool.
Showed my wife and she now admits my phone is cooler than her iPhone.

Just get the apk from here. http://www.mediafire.com/?3dvg918jwzmd3we
Done. Uninstall any previous version of Swype you may have on your phone tho.

Desire Z has probably the best physical keyboard I've used. Absolutely rapes the Milestone keyboard.

Once you get good at Swype and learn all the little shortcuts you can absolutely rip. With one hand! It's revolutionary... and kinda fun at the same time.

So I don't get it, some phones already have swype installed off the bat? Are these just using a Beta version then?

Decided to give Swype a try, seeing as it's included with my Captivate. Takes a bit of getting used to, but I'm digging it so far.

There was a swype competitor on the market some time ago. I don't recall what it was called now though. Anyone else see/try it?

SlideIT. Has some pros and cons vs Swype, in recent weeks I've bailed on them both to perfect my skills typing on the stock Android keyboard.

Just picked up a Samsung Galaxy S yesterday. I heart Swype.

Good question. They're probably running a more stable version.

Just started using it. Takes some getting use to but at least I'm not constantly hitting the wrong letters when I was texting on the android stock keyboard. I'm just uncoordinated when it comes to texting, and Swype seems to be helping me
