This is going to be all kinds of grim and I dont think even my outstanding tolerance for pessimism can take it.

I have a feeling this is going to be ugly.

I'm all for stacking Ls at this time of the year, but when it comes to winning against Shelbyville:

smash em.

I suggest a game of beer bingo to ease the sting. We're basically an AHL team at this stage.

Calgary needs a Rempe to fire them up.

I just always HATE losing to the Oilers. Hate it.

They will hold on that Victory and hold it against us for 40 years.

Every loss against those greasy bastards comes at the cost of lifetime of chin-wagging.

Hate it.

And considering that they just clowned Colorado I'm even less optimistic than my usual level of 'not optimistic at all.'

Oilers played last night and were likely celebrating late like they won the stanley cup. Tired b2b teams always lose. Easy win for the flames

5-0 flames

Not as concerned about the score. I just want to see the Flames HIT McAvi and Pissy hard and often. Hit them hard and hit them clean. But don't feel obligated to fight as Debrusk made it quite clear that that is not a requirement after a clean hit. Funny how that line of thought changes up north depending on who was hit.

It would be nice to see Wolf get a taste of the BOA. If he's the goaltender of the future he should probably have the chance to go up against McDavid.
