Taking a while to get to 5000
Was glad to be in attendance for his last appearance at the Saddledome where he saluted the crowd and vice versa. A Canadian icon.

Crash and Bang Winger
I always loved Cole's play-by-play, but the main thing I always remember about him was the 600 different ways he pronounced "Kaberle". I shouldn't joke around, but I can't help myself.
RIP Bob! Gone but never forgotten.

Bob Cole was the gold standard for calling hockey. No matter how many years go by whenever I think of the Flames winning another cup I hear Bob Cole in my mind calling it.
