Not a complaint, but these game day write-ups take a lot longer now with all our players in the league leaders.
Ortio is all over the top goaltending stats and I believe the only goalie with these stats NOT called up yet. Funny thing, he's still not in the top goaltending list for GAA and SV% however, he does play more and is more consistent then the majority of the goalies in that list.
Poirier flew up the rookie points and goals standings last night.
Arnold made his first appearance in the rookie points list released by the AHL.
Culkin is not only dominating the Rookie PP Assists by a Defenceman but he's also dominating that stat with ALL defencemen.

I know the Bruins, Coyotes and Leafs scouted the sh*t out of the Flames on a regular basis. At least that's the way it was in Abby.

Ah, so it might not be so out of place then.
Wasn't sure, I hadn't heard of any scouts being at previous games. Although with a game in Toronto, I'm sure more are closer and could be going just because.

Van Brabant with a couple huge shots that forced Sparks to make a good save.
The Marlies have a player named Kessel. Got confused there for a second. Much smaller guy.
Flames going to the PP.

Baertschi was looking very confident with the puck on that power play shift. Good to see.

Flames with 2 SOG on that PP. One was a good chance.
Marlies goalie Sparks is seeing his first AHL game this year.

I keep seeing #34 and can't get Carter Bancks un-burned from my memory. I have to rearrange and re-connect all the synapses that connects Bancks to that number.

Doesn't help that Bancks and Vause have a few similarities.

Definitely looks like two teams playing their 3rd game in 3 days.
Not quite Iowa Wild tea party at centre ice slow, but it's not a quick paced game.

I miss Kulak. That defense is too... defense heavy, if that makes any sense.
