What is your "Little Luxury"?

Thread title says it all. Curious what little "upgrade" item you buy or do for yourself. Keyword here is little - not looking for the humblebrag "normally we just stay in the regular room at the Four Seasons but sometimes I upgrade to the Presidential Suite to treat myself".

For me, it's going for sushi by myself for lunch. My wife isn't a huge fan, and if go without the kids I can mentally justify getting the upgraded special roll. Not something I do super often but whenever I do it feels like a little treat.

Mine is similar to yours. On Monday or Friday (or both) afternoons I sneak out for a matinee by myself. No crowds. Usually just a couple people in the theater. It's really nice.

2 or 3 Coors lights in a sunny back yard with friends after work on a week day.
Go home and make some grub, walk the dog while listening to music.

Every decade or so when I need a new hockey jersey, I buy a game worn one.

Folk fest. Every few years we get tickets for 2 or 3 days, rent a suite at the Sheraton Euaclair and live high on the hog. Nice change from the grind.

Actually, mine is airline upgrades on work trips. Sometimes I can get an upgrade to Business Class for $60 to $200 if I time it right. That also includes lounge access and that's not bad of a deal considering food and drinks both on the plane and in the lounge.

I do this too! I love going for lunches and dinners by myself - especially for sushi. I do it about 2-3 times a month. People find it weird sometimes that I do it, but honestly, if friends and family are busy, I'm totally cool enjoying my own company, experiencing new restaurants and just being out and about on my own. Sometimes I do this as well to to try an Old Fashioned; I'll just try places around Calgary that serve them.

Another one for me is a cigar (really, a cigarello) while on a golf course. Terrible for my health, but hey - nothing better!

Thirded. I like to go to my favorite wings place when it's not wings night and my wife is busy with something else. The bar is much quieter, and I can enjoy my wings without the loud hubbub of Wings Night, and served very quickly.

Mine is fancy bottle of whiskey. I have had a bad habit lately of not opening them though lol. A long run and a beer is pretty sweet as well.

Haha! It's all good. I do like seeing them doing well and staying in business, but they have been so full on WN before that finding a seat is impossible. Good for them, not so good for ME!

For me it is donuts. I love donuts and I would eat often if I could but I've gotten too fat since covid and I need to drop about 20 pounds so now I only buy donuts once a month and sometimes even less frequently. But when I do get a box it is easy for me to finish three at a time and I feel like #### afterwards but I have no self control at that point.
