Default Buffet Restaurants in Calgary

First off - no judgments. I'm looking for a Golden Corral - style of buffet restaurant in this city but am coming up dry. All I'm finding is Asian or Indian buffets, or Sunday brunch buffets (we want Saturday).

Thanks!

I'm not sure what golden corral is but casinos usually have buffets with food other than Asian.

I should mention we have a four year old as well, so casinos might be a no-fly zone.

Golden Corral is... a special place. I am not aware of such a thing here, but I secon Kevan - try the Deerfoot Inn and Casino.

P.S. WRT your concern re kids, we stayed there with the whole family for 4 days during our reno last year, and it was fine.

Check the various hotels for buffet dinner. The Glenmore Inn has a Friday-Sunday dinner buffet. Other than hotels I don't think there are any buffet style restaurants in Calgary that aren't ethnic cuisine.

The Highwood at SAIT does a lunch buffet Sept to April, but gets booked up months in advance. Monday to Friday.

http://www.endlessplate.com

Welcome to EndlessPlate.com - the soon to be definitive site for finding all the buffet and all you can eat restaurants, where the food is endless and your plate is never empty (until you're done, that is).

For now, this site is focused on Calgary restaurants because this is our home town. But with your help, hopefully this site will grow to be bigger and better. If you find a buffet or all you can eat we're missing, please let us know and we'll add it. Click here to send your updates.

At last count, we have a grand total of (Are you ready for this? Can you feel the anticipation? drum roll please) 537 buffet and all you can eat listings now (per week). That means there's 75 events happening every day in Calgary. Wow! Plus we're still working on a list of more restaurants we need to verify first. We just wanted to thank everyone who's contributed to this website. Keep up the good work.

I normally shy away from all you can eat sushi places because I don't trust the quality but I just went to http://www.fusionsu####hai.ca/ with my family and it was a cool experience. There's a tablet on the table with some cool software and you can just keep ordering whatever you like. I would definitely go back again. ^ URL is getting filtered since combining sushi and thai makes a swear word

personally, I miss the days of my early 20's when going out to bonanza was going to a nice place to eat.

endless salad bar, all you can eat shrimp - what a deal.

I also miss that Chinese food place downtown - Regency Palace. Loved tying on the feedbag there.

I have also been to Red Deer Buffet as well - wear sweats

As students in the 1990s at UBC, we often had to eat at Uncle Willy's, a chain of buffets in BC. The food was not great, but we would fill our backpacks with food. So hungry.

Some of you might be wondering why the heck did I eat at Uncle Willy's

Uncle Willy’s has a time limit policy

The four desserts of the apocalypse. 1. Cream Puff. 2. Rice Pudding. 3. Apple Crumble. 4. Chocolate Brownie

Tuesdays at Minas Brazillian Steakhouse is lunch price all day. $22 or something? Their buffet section has some unique items and I could even just eat that instead of the all you can eat meat they bring to your table.

There is an actual buffet part? I've always just eaten the meat off the stick.

Actually I lied, I can contribute more than horrific buffet stories.

It's not a Golden Corral style, but INTI in the NE is Peruvian buffet and is very good. Small selection but extremely fresh and authentic if you want to do something different.
