This is the first of four meetings between these two clubs, and Abbotsford's first of three back-to-back(-to-back) games in the Lone Star State.

From what I have read the Texas feed is very good. Keep in mind until I see this myself tonight it is just 2nd or 3rd hand information.

Up until Wednesday's debacle, Cristopher Nilstorp was right behind Brust for consecutive shutout minutes.

Abbotsford is 10-6-0-0 versus the Stars all-time and are 5-3-0-0 in Texas.

The Heat have not scored a PP goal on the road yet this season in 20 chances.

I'm really liking the Ben Olson pick up. I'm interested to see if he can keep up his pace, or at least impact, for the whole season.

Man, our PP on the road is just garbage. At least some chances tonight, but still zero goals on the PP on the road for the entire season.

Have to fix that...
