Disc Golf ....any avid players on CP??
Been playing now for 5 years solid. Play in the winter as well no matter the cold .
PM me if your heading out for a round of baskets
Favorite courses are Lloyd Park , Currie Reservoir, Dave Richardson. I really miss Refinery even though it was tones . Love the sport . Watch all the tournaments .
Favorite players are Simon Lizotte, Ricky Wysocki, Ezra Issac Robinson, Aaron Gossage
EZRA Aderhold, Calvin Vinny Buckets , Joey Buckets , Gannon Buhr, Eagle Sigh, Emerson Keith.
I wish Calgary golf Courses would smarten up and offer courses like they do in the states .Dual purpose courses would bring in a ton of revenue for thr facilities themselves .
Bought some cool swag at the Limber Disc Golf Cold Garden Brewery Tournaments back at Currie a month back.
At 56 with bad knees shoulders and back I still love to play and can still throw 250 280.
Getting better each round with putting ....always chaining out , hitting rims and baskets from 40 to 80 out and need to park shots more instead of running shots constantly.

Affectionate names the announcers have given them....not brothers.
The Robinsons are bros.
The game has exploded in growth since the pandemic....

You know a guy’s a die-hard when he has favourite disc-golf players. My favourite is Vince down the street.

I got into disc golf 5ish years ago as well, the year before Covid hit. I’m still not that great but I love it, although I have only played a couple rounds this year

Bad/obscure joke on my part - Keith Emerson, Greg Lake and Carl Palmer were a band (Emerson Lake and Palmer).

IPlay lots in Winnipeg where I live but there's not a ton of courses. Let me tell you if you ever get the chance play Raptors Knoll. The best experience I've ever had. Was in BC for my honeymoon last year and my wife and I loved it. Ranked one of the best courses in North America and totally free.

I went last year on my way through Abbotsford. Really cool course. I didn’t have enough distance to score too well but it was still a great time. Very wide open which was nice but still some very interesting shots. Been meaning to make a trip out this year but driving through Vancouver is such a slog.
