I'm thankful to the Americans for making hockey happen in the afternoon tomorrow. Now I can watch it at work and get that same special "watching sports at work" feeling that I get during the Olympics, World Cup, etc.

IMO, US Thanskgiving is too close to Xmas. I like our Thanksgiving in early October better. I like that the US takes four days though.

I just remembered I have a Dentist appointment today. So, you say? well, they have tv's now, so I'll be watching football during the day, for an hour. Cool.

Watching the first 2 games with family. We are getting Thanksgiving lunch from Boston Market with all the fixings. Then we are going to other family's for dinner where there will be a lot of people and having Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings. After that we are heading to the mall at midnight for Black Friday. Got some crazy deals last year. Should be a great day.

You should go in the Santa thread and get Johnny Cash a new lid.

We were supposed to be heading west to Bozeman to have dinner with my mother. Unfortunately, with my wife having to work Black Friday, and the Interstate being emergency travel only, we decided to hunker down at home.
Sadly, I also missed running in my first 5K race this morning. The "Huffing for Stuffing Run" in Bozeman was going to be my professional debut...

Well, you wonder why I always dress in black,
Why you never see bright colors on my back,
And why does my appearance seem to have a somber tone.
Well, there's a reason for the things that I have on.

Driving south 25 miles to the thriving metropolis of Wellington, KS and dinner at my sister's house. Got a nice cold front last night and it's well below freezing for the first time (during the day) this year so it feels like Thanksgiving.
Troutman, I wish I got 4 days for Thanksgiving. I have to be at work at 6 AM tomorrow. Back to the grind!

Woohoo! I am watching live NFL on a weeknight! And tomorrow--live NHL!
Live North American sports is a special treat here unless you have insomnia.
