Default Question About UFC Events

Hey all,

So me and a few buddys are heading down to vegas for our birthdays in february, and we are going to try to get tickets for UFC 126 on Feb, 5th. The question I have is, is there an age restriction to these types of events like 21+? because our one buddy isn't 21 until Feb, 6th. Anyone that has attended one can you please help me out. I would greatly appreciate it!

I can't imagine that there is an age restriction. For a sport that is trying to become accepted as mainstream, they would be silly to have age restrictions. They would want people to be able to bring their kids.

Also, if you go to Ticketmaster to try and buy tickets, there is no mention of any age restrictions.

Of course, other than the Ticketmaster info, that is purely conjecture...

I think you will be fine.
I was in vegas for the last mayweather fight and then the next day we were leaving the MGM and took a final picture of the "grand garden arena" sign...next thing we know the automatic door opens up just a crack and we felt invited in lol.
Coolest 30 minutes of my life walking the hallways the fighters do, going into the dressing rooms where everything was as if it was the night before. Then to top it off we decide to go have a bite at wolfgang pucks to chat about our experience and Mr. Ali walks within 1 foot of me!!!
Long story short... it doesnt answer your question but try and get downstairs the next day. Its incredible!!

Haha that sounds like something from the hangover except you actually remember it. Thanks for the story. Hopefully we have a similar story to bring back with us.

UFC events are a good time. Some thoughts.

1. Buy a Fight Club membership. It'll get you in on the pre-sale, which is where the good seats usually get sold and events sometimes sell out entirely.

2. UFC events are all ages.

3. UFC events are LONG. I was in Vegas for UFC 114 (Rampage vs. Rashad Evans) and the undercard fights began at 5, the Spike TV preshow began at 7 and the pay-per-view began at 8. We were at the arena for the better part of five and a half hours. Be prepared for a bit of sitting around, especially at the beginning.

4. You can usually meet most of the fighters at events prior to the fights. Most shows have a press conference, a public workout and the weigh-ins in the days before.

If by few weeks you mean a year and a half ago, then yes.

UFC 122 is up next. UFC 200 is still years away, though it will come much quicker then the first 100 did, obviously.
