B.C. motorcycle into Alberta?

Anyone know what is required to buy a motorcycle in B.C. and bring it into Alberta to register (emissions, etc.)? I imagine it's like a car.

Would probably require an out of province inspection similiar to a car. There are no emmisions requirements in Alberta so it would likely be an inexpensive safety inspection.

a number of years back i bought my truck in alberta then moved back to bc.

i had to get an inspection and a couple minor repairs and that was it.

i imagine it would be the same if you buy in bc and then bring it to alberta... but i've got to ask.... why do you want to pay the hst????

You don't. As an Alberta resident buying a vehicle, unless you are registering and transferring ownership in B.C., you pay only the taxes due in Alberta. PST in B.C. is 7%.
