Off leash parks in SW Calgary

I just moved to Elbow park 12St and 38 Ave and I am wondering where the best off leash parks are for me and my dogs to explore that are close to us. I was used to just going to southland living in the SE.

FKA: If you want less dogs, do the extreme north end of river park right by the 3 way stop atop Sifton. Perfect spot.

That's where I always took my guy when we lived in the Loop.

Although it would require getting into your car, there is a part of Edworthy Park that runs alongside Sarcee Trail that is a huge off-leash area. Get to Spruce Drive and follow it as far west as you can. Once you get to Edworthy Street, veer left instead of going right and down the valley.

also the north entrance to sandy beach is off leash too
