Well Miley Cyrus said she hated twitter on Letterman last night, so expect that communication avenue to go the way of the VHS recorder.

Don't see anything wrong with it. They usually give out a press release.

And this is wrong why?
All kinds of people use Twitter for all kinds of reasons. I don't see how its any different than a press release.

You don't see the difference between using a social networking service and releasing an official government statement? Srsly?

That really disturbs me. How in the world can we still be killing people execution style in a democracy? I'm against the death penalty no matter how it's done, but how can anyone justify killing this man with 5 shots to the chest?
I understand this is what he wanted, but since when do we obey criminal's demands?

Killing someone is never humane, but I was thinking more like a lethal injection.

Well if you're going to kill him anyways, the firing squad is about as humane as it can get.

I'm not going to mourn his passing, in this case the system worked. It was clear that he was guilty, He escaped from prison once beating a guard so badly that the guard had to have his face rebuilt.
He murdered another man during a robbery, and killed a lawyer in an escape attempted from court.
He plead guilty and tried to give up on his appeals three times.
At least he got to choose the time and method of his death picking the quickest way to die.
He didn't give his victims the same courtesy.
I don't mind the death penalty in cases like this.

Isn't lethal injection just as quick and painless? I know when I had to be put asleep for a surgery I never even noticed I was asleep or felt any pain.
They put you to sleep before giving you the lethal injection so supposedly you don't feel a thing.
