Default Montreal F1

So I'm heading to Montreal tonight for the F1 and I have a few questions for those familiar with Montreal and the F1.

1 - What are some of the popular parties to attend while down there?
2 - What are some of the better clubs where I can get bottle service at?
3 - What are some of the best restaurants to eat at?

I've searched the other Montreal threads but none really seem to talk about F1 weekend which I've heard is a blast.

Thanks

Check out the W Hotel club and bar. Last time I was in Montreal during F1, most of the pit crews were staying there and it was absolutely bumping for the entire week.

For parties head to Crescent street. It's usually closed off during F1 and people pack the streets everywhere around there.

You can get bottle service at pretty well any club, but except to pay twice the normal price during F1. Most of the clubs are located on St. Laurent just north of Sherbrooke.

Tonnes of great restaurants. One of the most popular in the city is Au Pied de Cochon (known for pork dishes and foie gras). I'd try to make a reservation as soon as possible if you want to eat there. L'Express is a nice French bistro, Schwartz's for smoked meat, La Banquise for poutine (especially late at night, its 24 hour), La Paryse for burgers, Fairmount or St. Viateur for bagels.

If you have any specific questions, just ask away.

That's great, thanks!

I forgot to mention that sometimes they have cars on display at Place Jacques Cartier (in the Old Port) as well during F1 if you want to check that out. Lot's of pubs/restaurants around there too although it pretty touristy.

I am super jealous. Take lots of pics and post them here. I was planning on going to this race, but it didn't work out.
