I always wondered what authentic Oriental flavour was whenever I read "Simulated Oriental Flavour" on a pack of noodles.

The simulated orientals probably Filipinos, they're handy as can be used in Mexican or Chinese at a pinch. Unless it is the really cheap generic noodles, then they use natives.
