Soooo went to Fountain tire to get a wheel alignment, got it back and the steering was still veering left.
They mentioned the frame was slightly bent then but took it back to see if they could fix the steering.
They couldnt and said to get it completely fixed id need the frame repaired, background that caused this was one of those VERY slippery winter days i lost control and banged my passenger rear wheel on the curb.
Anyone that works in this area that could take a look at it (and hopefully give me a decent price) id very much appreciate.
Called a couple shops and one guy quoted me that it shouldnt be too big of a job that it sounded like the castor? and maybe calliper? are you of whack if that means anything to you or if im even using the right terms.
I just changed out the tires and rims, the old ones didnt wear funny no.
I know the damage is exclusive to the right rear as when i put on the new tires and rims they are a little wider and the driver side rear fits in fine, the passenger rear has very little clearance within the wheelwell.
Didnt notice that before as the old tires and rims were smaller and thinner but can notice it with the new set.
I was under the impression there is only one mechanic shop in Alberta licenced to repair BMW frames and it's in Edmonton. If you like, I can get you the name but I think they are reeeeeally backed up atm.
